This VFD is only applicable to three-phase asynchronous motors. If your motor is heavy-duty, please choose a VFD with a higher horsepower rating than your motor's. The instantaneous starting current of an air compressor is very large, so to avoid overcurrent, it is recommended to choose a VFD with twice the horsepower of the compressor motor. For example, for a 2HP compressor, a 4HP or 5HP VFD is recommended.

One of the key functions of the VFD is to start the motor softly, to avoid significant electrical current impact on the mains system and mechanical shock to the machine system. Therefore, it is strongly recommended not to turn on the motor immediately after the VFD starts up.
